Tonight on SmackDown, we might see a WWE RAW star make an appearance.
Damian Priest was spotted backstage at the venue in Raleigh, North Carolina, according to PWInsider. It has not been confirmed that he will appear on the show, and it is possible that he was brought in for the dark section that follows the performance. WWE has hinted that Priest will depart from The Judgment Day in the near future.
WWE hasn’t done much to push tonight’s show. The only match announced is Asuka defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair, while Jey Uso “is on a warpath” after confronting WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns last week.
WrestleTix reports that 11,413 tickets have been distributed for tonight’s show. That is significantly more than the 9,057 tickets distributed when they were there on 8/12/22, and it is yet another indication of how popular the product is right now.
