AEW World Trios Champion and proud Opps member Powerhouse Hobbs isn’t just content dominating in the trios division — he’s setting his sights on more gold.
In a recent interview with MuscleMan Malcolm, Hobbs hinted at a possible return to singles championship contention, specifically eyeing the TNT Championship as a target for AEW All In: Texas. And if current titleholder Adam Cole is still champion by then, Hobbs made it clear he’s coming for what’s his.
“If Adam Cole still has the TNT Championship, I could get my belt back,” Hobbs said. “There won’t be any title safe.”
The former TNT Champion has been on a dominant run alongside The Opps, but his comments signal that he hasn’t forgotten about his past reign — or the unfinished business he may have in the singles title scene. With All In: Texas shaping up to be one of AEW’s biggest shows of the year, Hobbs’ declaration throws his name into the mix of potential contenders gunning for high-stakes gold.
Whether Adam Cole — or any other champion — will be ready for the raw power and intensity Hobbs brings remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: if Hobbs is coming for a title, someone’s getting steamrolled.
