According to Fightful Select, longtime WWE personality Vickie Guerrero has informed multiple people that she is planning to return to work with WWE in the coming weeks. While exact dates were not confirmed, the report noted that WWE Evolution is scheduled for July 12, and there is speculation Guerrero could reappear either before or during the event. However, her participation in Evolution is not confirmed at this time.
Sources indicated that Guerrero has maintained a positive relationship with WWE over the years. Her most recent on-screen appearance came during SmackDown’s return to the USA Network in September 2024.
Guerrero previously worked with AEW from 2019 until her contract expired in February 2023. Her departure was not classified as a release.
Following her exit from AEW, Guerrero became embroiled in personal controversy when her daughter, Sherilyn Guerrero, accused Guerrero’s husband Kris Benson (Sherilyn’s stepfather) of sexual assault during a cruise just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. While Shaul Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero expressed public support for Sherilyn, Vickie Guerrero denied the accusations, defended Benson, and threatened legal action while publicly disowning Sherilyn.
Despite the personal controversies, Vickie Guerrero may be preparing for a professional return to the WWE spotlight in the near future.
