A persistent online rumor about Karrion Kross refusing to take bumps during matches has officially been put to rest. The former NXT Champion has recently experienced a resurgence in popularity, largely fueled by a viral post-WrestleMania 41 promo. However, some fans began speculating that his lack of a significant push could be due to backstage concerns, including an alleged unwillingness to “bump” or take falls in the ring.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, these claims are entirely unfounded.
“Regarding the online discussion of Karrion Kross not bumping that picked up steam, Fightful spoke to multiple people who produced matches of his and they claimed that has never been an issue they’ve encountered.”
The update confirms that producers who have worked closely with Kross have had no issues with his in-ring performance or physicality. With strong fan support building and no known backstage heat, Kross remains a name to watch on WWE programming.
He is scheduled to compete in his first premium live event match since WrestleMania 40 when he faces Sami Zayn at this Saturday’s Night of Champions.
