Scott Stanford Announces WWE Departure After 15-Year Run

Veteran WWE host and commentator Scott Stanford has officially wrapped up his long-standing run with the company, marking the end of an era.

Stanford announced the news via his personal Twitter account, posting a heartfelt video of himself leaving the WWE studios one final time. In the post, he thanked WWE for the journey and teased that the door remains open for a return down the line.

“When you walk out of the studio on your last day @WWE! 15 year run… nothing but love! Hope to make it back one day! @TripleH @StephMcMahon @HeymanHustle,” Stanford wrote.

Stanford joined WWE in 2009, originally hosting WWE Bottom Line, before moving into commentary work for WWE Superstars alongside Jerry “The King” Lawler in 2010. Over the years, he became a familiar face as the lead host of many WWE studio-based programs and pre-show panels.

Fans will recognize Stanford from shows such as: WWE Superstars, Raw Talk, Afterburn, This Week in WWE, and numerous premium live event kickoff shows.

Stanford’s professionalism, charisma, and encyclopedic knowledge of WWE history made him a reliable and respected voice in the company’s broadcasting landscape.

As of now, there’s no official word on what’s next for Stanford, but his tweet makes it clear—a return isn’t out of the question.
