WWE star Sol Ruca has opened up about the lessons she learned while working with Becky Lynch, revealing how the former Women’s World Champion helped her develop greater confidence in both her character work and her approach to WWE’s creative process.

During a recent interview with KRON 4, Ruca reflected on her rivalry with Lynch over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship and praised the veteran’s ability to connect with audiences. “She is one of the greatest of all time for a reason. She is so, so good at what she does. She’s so good at the character work,” Ruca said.

Ruca explained that watching Lynch approach promos and television segments gave her valuable insight into how an experienced performer can elevate the material they are given. “I think I’ve learned a lot from her, especially in the character aspect of it. Seeing how her brain works, seeing how she’s able to take these promos and these segments and really make it her own and really know what people are going to bite on, know what the fans are going to enjoy, and being able to turn nothing into something.”

However, the lessons extended beyond what happens in front of the cameras.

Ruca revealed that Lynch’s willingness to question creative decisions also made a significant impression on her, particularly when it comes to advocating for ideas that could improve a storyline or performance. “I think she’s really, really good at that. I think she’s really good at questioning creative and really just trying to make everything the best that it can be,” Ruca explained.

The experience encouraged Ruca to become more comfortable expressing her own opinions when she disagrees with certain decisions, while recognizing the importance of maintaining a professional relationship with WWE’s creative team. “So I definitely learned to be able to stick up for myself a little bit when I disagree with certain things. I think she’s really good at doing that in a respectful way and being able to perform at the best of her ability and just giving the fans what they want.”

Ruca’s comments highlight the influence Lynch has had on her development, particularly in understanding how to balance creative input with delivering entertaining performances for WWE audiences.

Both Superstars were also featured at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 earlier this month. Lynch competed against Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer in a Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Championship, while Ruca participated in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

For Ruca, working alongside Lynch has provided an opportunity to learn from one of WWE’s most accomplished performers, both inside the ring and behind the scenes.
