Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville defeated Raquel and Liv Morgan to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions on the July 17th, 2023 episode of WWE RAW.
According to TMZ.com, Sonya suffered a serious knee injury that will necessitate surgery, and there is no word on when she will be able to return.
According to the outlet, “Our sources say DeVille tore her ACL during her tag team championship match against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair on July 28 in New Orleans on SmackDown … and will undergo a procedure on Tuesday to fix the issue.”
WWE is expected to make a decision on the future of the women’s tag team titles on RAW.
