TNA Wrestling is expanding its international television presence through a new broadcasting agreement with SPORT1, bringing the promotion’s weekly programming to free-to-air television in Germany beginning Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Under the agreement, TNA programming will air every Tuesday at 10:15 p.m. local time, featuring German-language commentary from Denis Pötzsch and Walandi Tsanti. The partnership will make TNA’s weekly shows available to viewers without a paid television subscription.
SPORT1 confirmed the arrangement in an official announcement, highlighting TNA’s more than 20-year history and its position as an established international wrestling promotion. The network described the addition as part of its strategy to expand its sports and entertainment programming while attracting both longtime wrestling fans and new viewers.
Andreas Gerhardt, SPORT1’s Chief Content & Distribution Officer, commented on the agreement and explained why the promotion was a natural addition to the network’s lineup.
“We’re expanding our sports lineup step by step, and TNA Wrestling fits perfectly into this strategy. The brand has a long tradition and is, at the same time, a modern, fast-paced product. This allows us to reach die-hard wrestling fans as well as people who are watching the sport on our channel for the first time. Starting in November, TNA will be on free-to-air TV on SPORT1.”
The broadcasts will feature an experienced German commentary team. Pötzsch previously worked on TNA programming during the promotion’s Impact era, while Tsanti brings extensive wrestling broadcasting experience, having provided German commentary for WWE SmackDown for ten years.
For Pötzsch, the new agreement represents a return to a promotion he has covered previously. He expressed enthusiasm about reuniting with TNA programming and working alongside Tsanti to introduce the product to SPORT1 viewers.
“Walandi and I are really looking forward to bringing TNA Wrestling to fans on SPORT1 as commentators. TNA is a fascinating wrestling brand with over 20 years of history, and at the same time, it’s an extremely modern, dynamic product. For me personally, it’s also a very special homecoming, since I had the opportunity to provide commentary for the shows back in the Impact days.”
Pötzsch concluded by teasing what viewers can expect from the broadcasts, adding, “What can viewers expect on SPORT1? In three words: ‘Total Nonstop Action.’”
The agreement provides TNA with another television outlet in an important European wrestling market, while giving German fans access to the promotion’s programming with familiar commentary voices.
TNA Wrestling’s SPORT1 broadcasts will premiere on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10:15 p.m. local time, with new episodes scheduled to air weekly on free-to-air television.
