WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has been added to more upcoming events.
WWE had previously announced that Stratus would be appearing at Saturday’s Supershow live event at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and Sunday’s Supershow live event at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, Canada. WWE has added Stratus to Monday’s RAW from the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, which was announced on Thursday afternoon.
The Steel Cage match between Stratus and Becky Lynch is set to take place soon, but WWE has not confirmed whether it will take place on an upcoming RAW or at the Payback Premium Live Event on Saturday, September 2 in Pittsburgh. Lynch finally got her rematch against Stratus on this week’s RAW, with Zoey Stark banned from ringside, but the match ended in a Double Count Out after they fought into the crowd. Stark later attacked Lynch as the fight spilled into the concessions area, prompting an enraged Adam Pearce to reschedule the Steel Cage match for a later date.
Trish’s official website noted that the “Thank You Trish” t-shirts will be available at these events. Stratus tweeted on being added to the shows and wrote, “Word is they needed a stratusfying boost after sales were souring [lemon emoji]”
