EC3 defeated Tyrus in a bullrope match on night two of the NWA’s 75th Anniversary show on Sunday night to become the new NWA Worlds Champion. Tyrus “must retire” from wrestling, according to the match stipulation.
Tyrus, who held the NWA Worlds Title for 289 days, has become a divisive figure in the company in recent months due to his political views outside of the ring.
