Following Thursday night’s episode of TNA iMPACT on AXS TV, the company announced an updated lineup for this month’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event.
TNA International Champion Steve Maclin, Jake Something, and Mance Warner will face Real1 (formerly known as Enzo Amore), Zilla Fatu, and Josh Bishop in a 6-Man Tag Team Match during the Countdown to Slammiversary pre-show. The match announcement was made by hip-hop star Westside Gunn, who is also responsible for the Hurt Syndicate theme music in AEW.
Previously announced matches for the event include TNA World Champion Trick Williams defending his title against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a three-way match, and TNA X-Division Champion Moose defending his title against “The Youngest In Charge,” Leon Slater. Additionally, TNA World Tag Team Champions The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) will defend their titles in a ladder match against The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy), The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz), and Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro).
Furthermore, WWE NXT’s DarkState, consisting of Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars, will face “The Complete” Matt Cardona and The System, which includes Eddie Edwards, “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers, and JDC, in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.
In addition, TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The Elegance Brand (Ash and Heather By Elegance) will defend their titles against The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay) on the Countdown to Slammiversary pre-show. In a Title vs. Title Winner Takes All match, TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich will face WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence. Finally, “The Undeniable Diamond” Tessa Blanchard will take on Indi Hartwell in a singles match, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles will make his return, and Cedric Alexander will battle Mustafa Ali in another singles match.
TNA Slammiversary 2025 will take place on Sunday, July 20, at the UBS Arena on Long Island, New York.
