WWE filed to trademark the “New Blood Rising,” “The Mat Beyond,” “YEET” and “King Corbin” terms with the USPTO (the United States Patent and Trademark Office) on July 3rd for merchandising purposes and entertainment services.
“New Blood Rising” was a WCW PPV held back in 2000, while “The Mat Beyond” was a subtitle for the WarGames match that first made its debut in 1987. “YEET” is the catchphrase of “Main Event” Jey Uso and “King Corbin” is a former persona of Baron Corbin.
