WWE Main Event Results – December 21, 2023
Indi Hartwell vs. Elektra Lopez
Match starts off with a lock up to start this match and Elektra Lopez shoves Indi Hartwell and talks some smack. Hartwell just puts her in a side headlock but gets pushed off and knocks down on on her ass.
Kick to the gut from Lopez but Hartwell knocks her down and celebrates. Lopez slides off a slam attempt and gets in a double thrust to the throat.
Lopez sends her into the top turnbuckle and tells us this is too easy before Lopez gets the 1st near fall of the match then chokes Hartwell with the middle rope.
Hartwell gets a roll up for a two count and Lopez slugs her back down then some elbows from Lopez and she hooks a modified cobra clutch then a short arm clothesline from Lopez gets one.
Lopez clubs away with forearms to the chest and back to the modified clutch before Hartwell gets another roll up for a two count and starts firing off right hands.
Running clothesline and another then a spinebuster from Hartwell before Lopez misses a pump kick and Hartwell hits a Full Nelson into a face first slam for the win.
Winner: Indi Hartwell
Apollo Crews vs. Brooks Jansen
Apollo Crews with a side headlock and he runs Brooks Jansen down when he gets shoved off. Crews with a dropkick but Jensen back as he plants Crews face first in the mat.
Crews knocks Jensen down again and heads up but Jensen meets him and slams him to the mat as we take a break.
After the break Jensen still in control and working the back of Crews before a suplex from the apron gets a two count then shoves Crews into the ropes and lands a forearm to the small of the back.
He tries again but Crews decks him then Crews lands a kick but runs into a powerslam for a count two then Jensen controls with a bear hug but he breaks it with a belly 2 back suplex and both men are down.
Crews hits a Stinger Splash in the corner followed by a clothesline then hits a series of strikes then a leaping clothesline before a standing moonsault gets a two count.
Gorilla Press but the back is damaged and Jensen falls on top for a two count before a DDT from Jensen gets another two count.
Jensen preps for a superplex but Crews fights his way out then Jensen fires back but Crews lands a headbutt & that sends Jensen to the mat & hits a Frog Splash to get the win.
Winner: Apollo Crews
