WWE RAW Viewership Drops On Netflix For June 16 Episode

The June 16th, 2025 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw experienced a dip in viewership across Netflix, as the episode faced heavy competition from the NBA Finals.

According to Netflix’s official Tudum report, the June 16 episode brought in 2.7 million global views and 5.0 million global hours viewed in its first seven days of availability. These numbers represent a notable drop from the June 9 edition, which recorded 2.9 million views and 6.1 million hours viewed.

One factor that may have contributed to the decline was the episode’s shorter runtime. The June 16 show ran for 1 hour and 47 minutes, compared to 2 hours and 3 minutes for the previous week.

The biggest challenge for WWE’s flagship show, however, was the Game 5 clash of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers on ABC, which drew a massive 9.54 million viewers domestically. The overlap in prime-time broadcast schedules likely siphoned attention away from Raw’s live and on-demand audiences.

Despite the strong competition, Raw still performed admirably on Netflix. The episode ranked in the Top 10 television programs in seven countries, including key WWE markets such as the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The June 16 episode carried major implications for WWE storylines, featuring the final first-round matches in both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, as well as the shocking return of Goldberg, who confronted World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER and teased an impending retirement bout.
