WWE released a new vlog that features “The Best In The World” CM Punk and the emotional week he had from preparing for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, to suffering an unfortunate triceps injury and revealing he will be missing WrestleMania 40 due to the devastating injury.
The video shows Punk commenting on the setback and admitting that the situation is not something he or anyone would have wanted, but that what he said on RAW this past Monday night is what will happen. He noted that he’ll be out of action for 4-6 months, and there is always next year when it comes to main-eventing WrestleMania.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins was penciled in to defend his title against Punk at WrestleMania 40, but now the company must go in a different direction. We will find out more in the next few weeks after the upcoming Elimination Chamber: Perth Event.
