Following the two-night event over the weekend, the WWE WrestleMania XL premium live event from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is now officially in the books.
The first night’s tag team headliner was Roman Reigns and The Rock defeating Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, while the second night saw Rhodes complete his story by defeating Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
WWE always invites several legends and Hall of Famers to the weekend, whether for the ceremony, signings, or appearances. The company had planned to have two Hall of Famers on the second night of the event, but that was canceled.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select stated, “There was a Lita and Trish involvement in the Hall of Fame segment that was nixed, apparently.” This year’s Hall of Fame class was headlined by Paul Heyman.
