WWE SmackDown Viewership And Rating Report For 8/28/2026

Dave Meltzer reports that last Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown on the USA Network averaged 1.120 million viewers and received a rating of 0.23 in the key 18-49 demographic.

This reflects a 12.5% decline from the previous week, which had an audience of 1.280 million viewers, and a 28.13% drop from the previous week’s rating of 0.32 in the same demographic. This 0.23 rating is the lowest since the July 24th episode, which also recorded a 0.23 rating. Additionally, the total audience number is the lowest since July 3rd, when it was 1.063 million viewers.

Currently, WWE SmackDown has an average rating of 0.283 in the 18-49 demographic and an average viewership of 1.235 million. In comparison, the same time period in 2025 saw a higher rating of 0.426 and an average viewership of 1.480 million.

The episode was headlined by Kevin Owens, known as “The Prize Fighter,” GUNTHER, referred to as “The Ring General,” and Finn Bálor, who faced off in an Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match.
