Fans will be able to see one WWE superstar return to the ring in the coming months.
Tonight’s SmackDown will serve as the warm-up for Saturday’s Fastlane premium live event. Several RAW stars are in town for the show, as previously reported.
The confirmed bouts for the evening are Charlotte Flair and Asuka vs. IYO SKY and Bayley, United States Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Bobby Lashley in a non-title match, and Dragon Lee vs. Austin Theory.
Lashley falls under the category of not being used in the ring but he has been teamed on television with The Street Profits.
Lashley hasn’t wrestled on television since May 12th, when he won a triple threat match before losing a singles bout to AJ Styles for the opportunity to challenge for the new World Heavyweight Title.
His most recent match took place on June 25th, when he defeated Baron Corbin in a house event.
