On Sunday, March 3, 2023, AEW will hold its first pay-per-view event of 2024, Revolution, from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. This will be Sting’s final match of his legendary career.
They will first host the Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
The main event will feature AEW World Champion MJF defending his title against Samoa Joe. There will also be the Continental Classic finals. Originally, AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill were scheduled to defend against The Golden Jets (Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega), but Omega is out indefinitely, so changes will be necessary.
Revolution pre-sale tickets went on sale on Thursday, while general on-sale tickets went on sale on Friday, and ticket sales are strong, which is a welcome change given the amount of negativity surrounding AEW these days.
According to WrestleTix, the show has sold 11,025 tickets, with 1,029 remaining for a total of 12,054. Since the pre-sale, nearly 4,000 tickets have been sold.
