Bully Ray And Tommy Dreamer Discuss The Working Relationship Between WWE And TNA

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) and ECW original Tommy Dreamer recently appeared on an episode of Busted Open Radio, where they talked about a number of topics including the working relationship between WWE and TNA Wrestling.

Ray said, โ€œ60-40 in โ€˜NXTโ€™s favor.โ€ โ€œAnd I think thatโ€™s good for TNA. Because itโ€™s โ€˜NXT,โ€™ the bigger company, allowing TNA, the smaller company, to play in their sandbox. And if you can play in their sandbox, and youโ€™re getting 40% of the shine, I think thatโ€™s really good. Because it would be very easy for TNA to come into โ€˜NXTโ€™ territory and โ€˜NXTโ€™ basically say, โ€˜Hey, this is the way weโ€™re doing it whether you like it or not.โ€™ โ€ฆ but I think โ€˜NXT,โ€™ I think Triple H, the powers-that-be, are being very gracious.โ€

Dreamer added, โ€œThese are different ways of taking care of your talent. Because youโ€™re not gonna say, โ€˜Hey, we lost the Super Bowlโ€™ โ€ฆ when they review the losers, what do they do? โ€˜Man, when we landed, we had 40,000 people at the airport celebrating us, celebrating what a game we hadโ€ฆ.I pay no attention to that stuff โ€ฆ but I know networks do.โ€
