WWE star Damian Priest appeared on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, where he talked about a number of topics including why he stopped doing the Reckoning as his finisher.

Priest said, โ€œActually, they didnโ€™t say you canโ€™t do it anymore. I do it differently but itโ€™s one of those things. Theyโ€™re like, โ€˜You might wanna โ€ฆโ€™ but they never said, โ€˜Change it.’โ€

On how Cody Rhodes executes the move differently:

โ€œIf [Rhodes comes] back, and Iโ€™m doing this move, every time I hit it, people are gonna think of [him].โ€™ He has his own twist, the way he hooks the arms and twists back and forth. I would do it more with taking my arm out and spinning underneath, but at the end of the day, itโ€™s a Rolling Cutter, right? โ€ฆ Basically, anytime I face Cody, Iโ€™m gonna hit him with it.โ€

On trying submission holds:

โ€œI [havenโ€™t] even started doing submissions yet, [of] which I got a few, and I have a different version of a Gogoplata. โ€ฆ Itโ€™s one thing paying homage to somebody. Itโ€™s one thing doing a similar move to somebody who works somewhere else. But when theyโ€™re working in the same company, on the same show, thereโ€™s gotta be a difference.โ€
