WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley spoke with Womenโs Wrestling Talk on a number of topics, including his sons, Terrell Hughes and Terrence Hughes’ run in AEW and ROH, and how it did not go well for them and how he wanted them to go to NXT.
Dudley said, โThey had a little stint in AEW and it didnโt really go well for them there. I didnโt like their little stint there either, I didnโt think they were being used correctly or used at all just like so many other talent in that company thatโs not being used correctly. I wanted them to get out, I wanted them to go to NXT and try to get their feet wet there. Thatโs what weโre doing right now with them. Itโs one of those things where I was happy they were able to leave that part of their life and their wrestling career and go start a new chapter. Theyโre doing very very well. Theyโre on the indies a lot, theyโre going overseas, theyโre doing so much but Iโm very proud of them. Every once in a while, they like to bring the old man along with them [laughs].โ
