WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green spoke with The Wrestling Classic on a number of topics, including how she actually reached out to Tommy Dreamer about appearing in TNA as part of the NXT and TNA crossover.
Green said, “I already had texted Tommy Dreamer when they first, when Jordyn Grace first surprised me at the Royal Rumble, and what she didn’t tell me, she was going to be in it. The night before, I texted Tommy, I said, okay, bet there’s a partnership? Bring me in. Bring me and P [Piper Niven] in to go for the Knockouts Tag Team titles. Tommy Dreamer, if you’re listening, I’m waiting.”
