WWE In Talks To Partner With Puerto Rico-Based Wresting Promotion WWC

Sportskeeda Wrestling reports that WWE is currently in discussions to partner with the Puerto Rico-based wrestling promotion World Wrestling Council (WWC). The talks involve a potential partnership between the two promotions, including a talent exchange.

WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque views Puerto Rico as a significant market and aims to build a strong relationship with WWC as part of their efforts to expand their product. Additionally, WWE is looking to showcase a diverse range of talents.

According to Fightful Select, WWE star Carlito has been tentatively scheduled for a match in WWC for several months, although there is no confirmed date for the match.

WWE has established working relationships and partnerships with various wrestling promotions, including TNA Wrestling. The company also announced the acquisition of the Mexican-based lucha libre promotion, AAA.
