AEW Grand Slam: Mexico Officially Sells Out Arena México

All Elite Wrestling’s first-ever event in Mexico, AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, has officially sold out just two days after tickets went on public sale, according to reports confirmed Monday.

The special episode of AEW Dynamite is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2025, and will take place at the historic Arena México in Mexico City, marking a major milestone for AEW’s international expansion.

Tickets, which became available on Saturday, April 26th, were met with overwhelming demand. Wrestling ticket analysts noted that seats, particularly in the lower bowl sections, sold out rapidly despite reports of premium pricing compared to typical Arena México events. The complete sell-out of the approximately 16,500-capacity venue occurred even before AEW announced any specific matches for the event.

The Grand Slam: Mexico show, held in partnership with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), marks a rare occasion for a major U.S.-based wrestling promotion to run an event at the iconic venue. The show will kick off a major week of international wrestling collaboration featuring talent from CMLL, Ring of Honor (ROH), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro).

The rapid sell-out highlights strong fan interest in AEW’s global expansion and its growing partnership with CMLL.
