The Collision: Beach Break special on TNT aired on Saturday night but ended a half hour earlier than scheduled, concluding at 9:30 PM ET instead of the intended 10 PM ET. TNT displayed a crawl after the show, indicating that the episode could not be completed due to technical difficulties.
Several matches were recorded to air but did not make the final broadcast. These included Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara facing CRU in an AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match for Double or Nothing, as well as The Opps’ AEW World Trios Champion Powerhouse Hobbs taking on Wheeler Yuta from The Death Riders in a singles match.
AEW President Tony Khan addressed the situation via Twitter (X) shortly after the show. He stated that the full episode will be available on MAX, as well as on the West Coast airing on TNT West.
Khan wrote, โWeโre having technical problems with our studio transmission of Saturday #AEWCollision tonight! Iโm sorry for the inconvenience to all of you great fans! Weโll have the complete show up on @StreamOnMax + in its entirety on @TNTdrama West 8pm PT/9pm MT/10pm CT/11pm ET tonight!โ
