As previously reported by PWMania.com, Starrcast is officially returning to Texas during AEW All In: Texas week. In a major announcement, it was revealed that Monty Brown—a former TNA and WWE star—will be making a rare public appearance at the event.
This marks Monty Brown’s first wrestling-related appearance in decades. Fightful Select also noted that Steve Kaye of Starrcast and Paragon Talent had been working for years to secure Brown’s involvement, with the agreement finally reached at the end of last month.
Brown is known to be a close friend of Lance Archer and Kevin Thorn, and has been spotted backstage at numerous AEW, TNA, and WWE events over the years. Despite interest from multiple promoters, Brown has consistently declined bookings, making this appearance a significant moment for longtime fans.
During his in-ring career, Brown was a top star in TNA during the early to mid-2000s, known for his explosive style and signature Pounce finisher. He later competed in WWE under the name Marcus Cor Von as part of the ECW brand.
He was a force on the gridiron—and in the ring.
