AAA has officially announced that WWE stars and current AAA World Tag Team Champions, Los Garza (Angel and Berto), will make their first title defense at the upcoming Verano de Escándalo event.
The reigning champions are set to defend their titles against Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr. The match will take place on Friday, July 11th, at Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Los Garza captured the AAA World Tag Team Titles at Triplemanía Regia on June 15th, winning a Four-Way Tag Team Match that included the former champions Nueva Generación Dinamita (Sansón and Forastero), The Nemeths (Nic and Ryan Nemeth), and the team of Psycho Clown and Pagano.
This will mark the first title defense for Los Garza under AAA since winning the gold, and it further highlights the ongoing collaboration between WWE and AAA, with crossover stars continuing to appear on both platforms.
