Ricky Saints opened the show, reminding fans of his Heatwave performance and declaring his intention to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship. Josh Briggs interrupted, claiming Saints hadnโt earned a title shot and mocking his โoutsiderโ hype. The two exchanged sharp words until AVA made an announcement: with JeโVon Evans sidelined, a new number one contender must be found. Tonight, Ricky Saints vs. Josh Briggs will decide who faces Oba Femi at No Mercy.
First Match: Blake Monroe vs. Kelani Jordan
Fast-paced back-and-forth early. Monroe rocked Jordan with a Skull Crushing Finale and applied a Bridging Fujiwara Arm-Bar, but Jordan battled back with strikes and a SitOut DDT. Outside the ring, Jordynne Grace appeared, chasing Monroe around the Performance Center. This distraction allowed Jordan to hit the Olympic Slam and a Split-Legged Moonsault for the win.
Winner: Kelani Jordan via pinfall
Second Match: Blindfold Match โ Myles Borne vs. Lexis King
Chaos from the start with both men swinging blind. King grew frustrated, accidentally hitting the post and stumbling over the steps. Borne landed multiple shots, but after a referee mishap, King removed his blindfold and delivered a low blow. King hit The Coronation to steal the victory.
Winner: Lexis King via pinfall

Third Match: Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley (w/The Culling) vs. Wren Sinclair & Kendal Grey (w/Charlie Dempsey)
Kendal Grey impressed with a belly-to-belly suplex and submission flurries. Sinclair fought hard, but Paxley and Dameโs teamwork shifted control. A messy blind tag led to Paxley and Dame arguing before Dame landed a Big Boot and Sky High powerbomb on Sinclair for the win.
Winners: Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley via pinfall
In-Ring Promo โ Trick Williams
Trick declared himself the biggest star NXT has ever produced, promising to headline No Mercy and Halloween Havoc. He dared anyone to step up if they disagreed.
Fourth Match: Number One Contenderโs Match โ Ricky Saints vs. Josh Briggs
Hard-hitting contest with near falls throughout. Briggs dominated with power moves, while Saints relied on speed and resilience. After multiple counters and a wild series of reversals, Saints landed The Destino followed by a Tornado DDT to secure the victory and a shot at Oba Femiโs title.
