Jim Rodriguez has officially joined World Wrestling Entertainment as a Senior Associate Producer, calling the opportunity a major personal and professional milestone.
Rodriguez announced the news on social media, confirming he will be working across multiple WWE brands and productions moving forward.
“Bucket list job! I’ve joined the WWE as a Senior Associate Producer. Gonna be involved with RAW, SmackDown, NXT productions and making trips to Mexico for AAA. Beyond excited.”
The post included photos from recent episodes of WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown, along with behind-the-scenes images from WWE’s production area. Rodriguez’s LinkedIn profile also confirms he officially joined the company in April 2026.
Before arriving in WWE, Rodriguez built an extensive background in sports broadcasting and television production. He previously worked as a host for the BetMGM Network and also served as a Producer and Associate Director for IMG, where he oversaw Spanish-language broadcasts of Major League Soccer coverage on Apple TV.
His hiring comes during a notable period of transition and investment within WWE’s production department. Recently, Hunter Selby was announced as WWE’s new Director of Show Production and Design, bringing experience from Emmy-nominated lighting work tied to productions such as American Idol and SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.
The additions follow the departure of longtime WWE Director of TV Production Gavin O’Shea, who announced last month that he was leaving the company after 25 years.
With Rodriguez now officially part of the team, WWE appears to be continuing its push to strengthen and modernize the production side of its television presentation across RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and its growing international partnerships.
