On Wednesday, the Grand Slam Mexico special featured an exciting 8-Man Tag Team Match where AEW World Tag Team Champions Christian Cage and “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland teamed up with the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) to face the Death Riders. Despite their efforts, the Death Riders emerged victorious in the match.

Recently, Copeland shared his thoughts about this appearance on his Instagram account.

Copeland wrote, “What. A. Night. Finally, finally after 34 years I was privileged to step into The Wrestling Cathedral. Arena Mexico. And man, Mexico you did not disappoint. I felt the vibrations in my bones when I came out. It’d been 18 years since I last performed in Mexico and to finally do it in those hallowed halls, the perfect way to cap off my love affair with Lucha Libre and Mexico. I’ll take last night to the grave with me. Gracias Mexico. 🇲🇽 credit @cedrix_fotografc”

Cage and Copeland will defend their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks at AEW All In: London. The pay-per-view takes place on Sunday, August 30th, and will air live.
