WWE Hall of Famer and pro wrestling legend Sting’s son, Steven Borden, has been regularly appearing in dark matches for AEW. Many people believe he has already signed with the company, but that is not the case.

According to Fightful Select, Borden has not been officially announced as under contract with AEW. However, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has expressed pride in Borden’s work thus far and confirmed that the company is working with him. The report also mentions that Borden’s brother, Garrett, has been training and working matches. It remains unconfirmed whether Garrett is signed with AEW, but he is reported to be “on their radar.”

Both Garrett and Steven Borden made their first wrestling-related appearances at Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024. They appeared in Wolfpac Sting and Surfer Sting gear and makeup during Sting’s entrance and were involved in the match.
