According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (as reported by F4WOnline.com), there has been speculation that The Young Bucks’ current contract with AEW may be their last in professional wrestling. Meltzer mentioned that, aside from “Hangman” Adam Page, he is unsure how much longer The Elite members will continue their wrestling careers. Matt Jackson has even contemplated retiring since he is in his 40s, and they have made enough money to be financially secure.
Regarding the Bucks possibly being on their final contract, Meltzer indicated that while he has heard discussions about this, significant financial offers often come in afterward, which encourage them to stay. He noted that it will be interesting to see what happens when their contract expires, although Page is likely to continue wrestling for several more years.
In August 2023, AEW announced that The Elite—Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and “Hangman” Adam Page—signed new multiyear contracts with the company. At that time, the deals were rumored to last “at least four years.”
Currently, The Young Bucks are scheduled to challenge Adam Copeland and Christian Cage for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at All In: London 2026. This match will take place on Sunday, August 30th, at Wembley Stadium in London and will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
