Pro wrestling legend and AEW star Chris Jericho spoke with Justin Barrasso for his Undisputed column about various topics, including reigning AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and his belief that Omega is the best big show performer of the modern era.
Jericho said, “Kenny’s the best big show performer I’ve ever seen. Shawn Michaels was, too, in a different era. For the modern era, I can’t think of anybody better than Kenny–who delivers on big shows constantly.”
The two competitors had one of the most historic matches in recent memory when they faced off at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in 2018. Since then, they have encountered each other multiple times in various formats on AEW TV, including two Stadium Stampede matches and a singles bout at AEW Double or Nothing in 2019.
Currently, Omega has another significant match ahead, as he is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay at All In: London this coming weekend.
