AEW President and CEO Tony Khan participated in the All In: London post-show media scrum, where he discussed various topics, including the introduction of the Motor City Machine Guns to the company.
Khan said, “Oh yeah, absolutely. They’re tremendous, I really like the Motor City Machine Guns. I had met them years ago when Kenny [Omega] was traveling as the AEW World Champion, and I traveled with him. And that’s when I first met them, and they’re both great wrestlers. I’ve been a fan of both of them for many years. When they were both free agents, I thought that was a great opportunity.”
On their appearance at All In:
“We had a show in Detroit. I thought it would be great for them to come in — even though they really wanted to be here, and come out and be a part of AEW All In: London, they couldn’t resist and I couldn’t resist the opportunity for them to say hello and make the announcement for their hometown fans in Detroit. And then to come back and reappear at AEW All In in London at Wembley Stadium, and not only appear but to be out there with some of the great tag teams, arguably, of all time. With the Young Bucks, the World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, the former champions FTR, and now two-thirds of the new Trios Champions, the New Level, and of course the Motor City Machine Guns. That’s five incredible teams, and who would have thought it would have ever been possible to see these five teams all in the ring at the same time, let along on Wembley Stadium on PPV.”
