New AEW Women’s World Champion, “The CEO” Mercedes Moné, participated in the All In: London post-show media scrum, where she discussed various topics including her emotional reaction to winning the title.

Moné said, “I — gosh. I haven’t even had time to process holding this [the title], because I was just so focused on taking f**king Willow’s smile and ending her career. That this — like, my god. I finally get to look at this, because straight after the match I had to go to the doctor’s and get stitches for my nose that she broke. But man, Renee, this is something that I’ve wanted for so long. And to be able to really say I am the CEO of the AEW women’s division — I’m honored. I am beyond honored, because this division is the best in the world. Every woman that I’ve ever stepped in the ring with here has given me their f**king all… But I am so happy, so honored to be here, and so grateful to be able to do what I love every single week. And man, Wembley was everything. It was absolutely everything.”

On when the broken nose happened:

“Right in the f***ing beginning, did you not watch? Me and Willow have had it out for each other since the day that we met. And today was just — all of our emotions, all of our frustrations, all of our history was just right there in the ring. And we gave it all to each other. She legit beat my ass all over the ring, but I beat her harder.”
