Former WWE President George Barrios has released a book about his experiences in the company, titled “Sometimes Wrong but Never in Doubt: How a Cuban Kid from Queens Transformed WWE”. The book was published earlier in June, and Barrios is scheduled to make a rare public appearance for a book signing.
According to Toy Stop NYC 2, Barrios will be at their location for a book signing from 11 AM to 1 PM local time on Sunday, September 20th. His book is available in Kindle, hardcover, and audiobook formats on Amazon.com. The announcement states, “Guest Announcement: Former WWE President George Barrios will be making a rare appearance to sell his new book. He will be appearing from 11 AM – 1 PM.”
Barrios joined WWE in 2008 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. He later became Co-President of WWE alongside Michelle Wilson from 2018 to 2020. He was fired by former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in January 2020. Despite his termination, Barrios rejoined WWE at McMahon’s request in 2023. He and Wilson became members of WWE’s Board of Directors earlier this year to assist with the company’s eventual sale. WWE was later acquired by WME, with its merger with UFC under the TKO banner being completed later in the year.
