TNA Knockouts TV Champion M By Elegance from The Elegance Brand recently spoke with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful about various topics.
One of the highlights of the conversation was M’s experience facing Willow Nightingale in a singles match on AEW Dark: Elevation in March 2023, marking M’s debut match in the promotion.
M By Elegance said, “I was so new. This was another turning moment of realizing, ‘Maggie, why are you doing these moves?’ I was wrestling girls and doing powerbombs and frickin’ spinebusters, which yeah, I can do it, but I get there, and I’m talking to Willow, and she’s like, ‘What do you do?’ I’m like, ‘Oh, I do a spinebuster and a powerbomb.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, that’s what I’m doing.’ But the experience was so great. She’s so, so, so sweet, and producing the match was great as well. She was so sweet after the match. Obviously I was so frickin’ green, like I was brand new. I didn’t even know how many matches I had worked up until that point. I think that match might’ve been the first time that I had real wrestling gear even. Possibly, if I remember correctly.”
