Nearly a decade later, James Ellsworth has discovered that getting off Chris Jericho’s infamous list is apparently easier said than done.

Ahead of WWE Survivor Series 2016, Ellsworth was involved in a memorable segment featuring the members of Team Raw and Team SmackDown.

Team Raw consisted of Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, while AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Shane McMahon represented SmackDown.

During the segment, Ellsworth managed to get himself added to “The List of Jericho,” one of the most popular aspects of Jericho’s WWE character at the time.

Almost 10 years later, Ellsworth — who now also goes by Chince McMahon — recently crossed paths with Jericho and saw an opportunity to finally clear his name.

Unfortunately for Ellsworth, his plan backfired.

Rather than agreeing to remove him, Jericho informed Ellsworth that he was now on the list for a second time.

“I asked Chris Jericho if after 10 years I can get off his list,” Ellsworth wrote while sharing footage of their reunion. “Here’s what he had to say…”

The original interaction between Jericho and Ellsworth took place during the build to Survivor Series 2016, where Raw and SmackDown faced off in a traditional five-on-five elimination match.

Almost a decade later, Ellsworth’s attempt to make amends has instead left him with twice as much work to do if he ever wants to get off Jericho’s list.
