AEW Hires Former TNA Wrestling Creative Team Member

PWInsider.com reports that AEW has hired former TNA Wrestling creative team member RD Evans following his recent departure from the company. The report also noted that Evans started his new AEW role backstage at their Collision show on Saturday and was also present at last night’s Dynamite.

Evans signed with TNA to work as part of their creative team in October of 2019. Prior to that, Evans was part of WWE’s creative team from 2016 until an incident that took place at the 2019 Hall of Fame induction ceremony when WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart mentioned former CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon during his speech, which was against protocol. McMahon was furious with this, and it would lead to Evans quitting immediately. Evans then addressed the incident in a statement written on the same notes app where he keeps his grocery lists.

Evans, known by his ring names Archibald Peck and Mixed Martial Archie, has also made a mark in the wrestling world. He competed in promotions like ROH and Chikara, showcasing his versatility and skills in the ring.
