Backstage News On CM Punk’s Comments About Hangman Adam Page After AEW Collision

There was speculation on social media following CM Punk’s comments about Hangman Adam Page after AEW Collision that Punk and Page have worked things out enough that they can work their real-life issues into a storyline. That does not appear to be the case, and Punk’s comments were said to be a shoot.

Page was sent to Collision in Greensboro, according to Dave Meltzer’s F4WOnline Daily Update, to do a pre-taped promo backstage to hype this Wednesday’s Dynamite.

However, when Page arrived at the arena, he was told that the promo would have to be taped elsewhere. Hangman was not scheduled to appear on the show.

During his post-match promo, Punk mentioned that he was chopped by House of Black despite his request not to, and he called Page a “peg warmer” because, unlike Page, he sells toys and merchandise. Punk also stated that he enjoyed the fans and that they sold more tickets for Collision in Greensboro than the previous time they were in the city, and that he was fine with both positive and negative signs. Punk received a mixed reaction from fans both during and after Collision.

Meltzer also stated that The Young Bucks and Punk have an agreement not to say anything negative about each other, but Page is not a part of that agreement.
