According to Fightful Select, despite suffering a legitimate broken hand injury prior to AEW All In: London, Willow Nightingale still made an appearance at the Rebel Heart Dynamite show last Wednesday. During a segment with Thekla and AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné, Nightingale intervened after Thekla started insulting her, ultimately chasing Thekla off. The report also indicated that AEW plans to continue featuring Nightingale on television while her hand heals and intends to keep her on screen since the time she sustained the injury.
Additionally, the report noted that indie wrestler Tatevik, also known as Tatevik Hunanyan, was among the extras who appeared alongside Andrade El Idolo this week. Tatevik has been a frequent presence alongside Andrade over the past month. Another talent who has served as one of the extras escorting Andrade to the ring is Amaris Blair, who accompanied him twice last week.
Furthermore, it was reported that Steven Borden, the son of Sting, who also appeared in a promo segment with Darby Allin on Dynamite this week, is moving “full steam ahead” as an on-screen wrestler in AEW. Borden has reportedly been training for the ring for over two years now. Finally, multiple sources within AEW expressed excitement about the Rebel Heart tribute show honoring Rebel (aka Tanea Brooks). Many of Rebel’s friends felt that the show was exactly what she wanted.
As previously reported by PWMania.com, some notable guests in attendance included Killer Kross, Gail Kim, Christy Hemme, Scarlett Bordeaux, former AEW announcer Dasha Gonzalez, and Allysin Kay. Other individuals mentioned by Fightful as being in town for the event included Marti Belle and former AEW Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh.
