FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships on a recent episode of Collision to “Absolute” Ricky Starks and Big Bill. It was previously reported that Wheeler sustained an injury in FTR’s match against Aussie Open at WrestleDream, which is why they dropped the titles to Starks and Bill.
According to Fightful Select, Harwood played a pivotal role in convincing the company’s creative team to end their match rather quickly, and a rematch is scheduled to take place at a later date.
The report also mentions that Wheeler is indeed dealing with an injury, but he is not expected to be out of action for a long time, though that was not the primary reason for the title loss.
