One of the matches on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite is Jeff Jarrett vs. Mark Briscoe in a Concession Stand Brawl.
Following a promo that aired on the most recent Road To Dynamite episode, Jarrett stated that if he didn’t pin Briscoe, he would never be seen in AEW again.
As a result, fans are speculating that Jarrett will no longer wrestle in AEW or move to the ROH brand.
According to PWInsider, Jarrett’s line about needing to pin Briscoe or leave AEW is not the direction or stipulation for the match.
The promo was later removed from the Road To Dynamite episode because Jarrett appears to have done several promos and the wrong one was released before being removed from the episode. That stipulation was never intended.
As previously reported, The Elite will not appear on the show live, but may appear in pre-taped interviews, as Punk is expected to appear on the show despite not being advertised.
