WWE had to change their plans for CM Punk at the company’s biggest event of the year, WrestleMania XL, after being sidelined with torn triceps while competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, which Cody Rhodes won. Punk had announced his intention to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

Drew McIntyre defeated Rollins for the title, with Punk providing commentary. However, after celebrating with his family at ringside, Punk cost McIntyre the championship, prompting Damian Priest to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase moments later. The two have taken shots at each other on social media and television as they continue their feud ahead of Punk’s medical clearance.

Some fans believe that Punk may cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Title when he faces Priest for it at Clast at the Castle in Scotland later this month, with their match scheduled for SummerSlam in August. McIntyre is well aware of the possibility.

While speaking with Cultaholic, McIntyre warned Punk not to get involved in his upcoming match because he could be jumped by the fans.

McIntyre said, “I think it would be a mistake for a number of reasons after what happened last time at Clash, I really do not want something like that to happen again to the UK…

“This is Glasgow… this is Scotland, this is different. I would strongly suggest not getting involved or doing anything to rock the boat during this show as there’s a genuine chance you’ll get jumped. I’m not even joking. And there’s a genuine chance the security guards won’t stop them because they’re Scottish as well.

“I’m telling you, there’s a good chance you’ll get jumped and security will help jump you if you get involved in my match.”
