Former WWE NXT star Elayna Black, previously known as Cora Jade, is reportedly making significant financial gains outside the ring after stepping away from professional wrestling earlier this year.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Black is experiencing massive success on the subscription platform OnlyFans, with one source suggesting she may have earned more in the past month than any other female pro wrestler worldwide.

“She has probably made more money last month than any woman pro wrestler in the world…”

“I know she was talking to somebody who I know,” Meltzer said. “And… she has probably made more money last month than any woman pro wrestler in the world, probably by a lot, because of OnlyFans.”

Following the Mandy Rose Model

Meltzer compared Black’s current trajectory to that of Mandy Rose, who turned her WWE release into a financial windfall via her content subscription platform. Like Rose, Black has leveraged her WWE fame and presentation into a lucrative alternative career path.

“Mandy Rose set the template,” Meltzer added. “And you know, if you’ve got the right look, you can do OnlyFans coming off of a WWE run… I mean, Mandy Rose is incredibly rich from that… and it’s the new thing, and more people are going to do it.”

Why Independent Wrestling No Longer Makes Sense

Meltzer also addressed the stark contrast between the income potential from OnlyFans and the physical grind of the independent wrestling scene.

“Think about this. You want to do these indie dates for $1,000 when you’re making the kind of money that she’s making?” he said. “It basically makes no sense at all… flying in, the stress, taking bumps—or sitting around, and the money rolls in.”

While acknowledging the temporary nature of such surges in online income, Meltzer stated the move made perfect sense for Black at this time.

“She may come back, but… right now for her, I mean, she’s just making an incredible, incredible amount of money. I mean, it’s ridiculous, so good for her.”

Elayna Black Stepping Away From Wrestling

Black, 24, announced in June that she would be “taking a break from wrestling for the foreseeable future” following her WWE release in May 2025. She cited mental health as her priority and stated she would “take care of me and go from there” for the remainder of the year.
