Eric Bischoff Shoots Down Rumors About Hulk Hogan’s Health

On the latest episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff addressed the swirling rumors regarding the health of his longtime friend Hulk Hogan—offering much-needed clarification and optimism.

Bischoff confirmed that Hogan recently underwent surgery related to long-standing nerve issues in his back and cervical spine, which had been affecting his ability to feel his hands. Fortunately, the procedure was a success.

“He went in for surgery… because he had a difficult time feeling his hands,” Bischoff explained. “He came out of the anesthesia and boom, he had feeling in his hands again. He’s really excited.”

While Hogan did experience a minor setback due to the effects of anesthesia and prescription medication, Bischoff assured listeners that the wrestling legend is on the mend.

“Your body can only handle so much anesthesia… and he’s had a lot of it over the years. I think between that and some of the medication, it just kind of set him back a little bit.”

Bischoff was quick to shut down online rumors suggesting a family emergency or critical hospitalization, calling such reports “all bullshit.”

“The rumors of the family gathering in the hospital—that’s the part that was just all bullshit. But yeah, he had a bit of a setback… but he’s going to kick out like he always does, and he’ll be fine.”

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as “The Immortal” Hogan continues to recover and remain in good spirits.
