Fightful Select reports that NJPW star Hikuleo had a conversation with them, where he revealed he had talks with the WWE at the beginning of the year and he weighed his options about leaving NJPW to join the company.
Hikuleo also said that the speculation of him leaving NJPW only amplified after his Loser Leaves Japan Match at New Year’s Dash back in January was announced, but he felt like NJPW was where he was supposed to be, and information shouldn’t have leaked online of the WWE rumors.
