IYO SKY’s WWE career has taken off in the last year as a result of her return, which saw her join a faction with Bayley and Dakota Kai that was introduced at last year’s SummerSlam following the opening bout, which saw Bianca Belair successfully retain the RAW Women’s Title over Becky Lynch.

She was sidelined with an injury and in contract talks with WWE at the time of the group’s formation, as her deal was set to expire in the same month as SummerSlam, leading many to believe she was leaning towards leaving unless given a main roster contract.

SKY has been a featured star on television with the group and held the Women’s Tag Team Titles since that time. SKY won her first WWE Women’s Championship at this year’s SummerSlam after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Belair in a triple threat match with Asuka and Charlotte Flair.

SKY has reached the 100-day mark as Women’s Champion. Her most recent title defense was against Belair at Crown Jewel, where the return of Kairi Sane assisted SKY in retaining her title.
