NXT star Jaida Parker failed to win the NXT Women’s Championship on Sunday night at NXT No Mercy, but it’s clear that she’s moving up the roster and will be a big name on the main roster.
Parker has made significant progress in the ring and has received high praise from company officials and social media fans alike. While speaking with “Muscle Man Malcolm,” Parker discussed where her confidence came from.
โIโm going to be honest with you. I didnโt have it all before. I started looking at myself the way I thought God saw me, and how my coaches saw me as this confident, badass. Iโm like, I am that because my whole life, you know people go through a lot of things, โOh, youโre this, youโre thatโ, and I started to believe them, especially when that roller coaster of emotions was going up, like, โTheyโre right. Everybody was right.โ Nah, Iโm right. God was right. My coaches are right. So thatโs where the confidence comes from and it keeps building because Jaida Parker is undeniable.
On her dream opponent:
โIt would have to be between Jade Cargill because she is a work of art to me, but sheโs a hell of an athlete and Bianca because sheโs been around for so long. I see people on Twitter all the time talking about how I resemble what she was in NXT and I love that because Iโm like, look where sheโs at now. So if you say that about me, and sheโs there now, oh, I would love to face her because I can only get better from her. So those are my two.โ
